By submitting content you acknowledge that you have the legal right to do so.

facebook visitors
We use the Facebook platform to allow people to create judge accounts as well as to utilize various aspects of the service on Facebook directly. Facebook connect-only accounts are not currently supported on the mobile version of the site which requires a direct account with youhavebeenjudged.com.
You may use this site with a direct account here, with a Facebook account, or both.
When you connect a judge account with your Facebook account or use your Facebook account to judge we permanently store your Facebook user ID and temporarily store your name/username which is updated every 24 hours from your Facebook account. We may in the future share more information based on your privacy settings at Facebook, such as websites you have listed or other information about you that you have made available publically.
If you disconnect or deactivate your facebook account all content you submitted will be assigned to a new anonymous judge account in no way connected or identifiable with you. If you also want that content deleted please contact us.
If you would like to utilize the mobile site or provide alternative information from that provided through your Facebook account (e.g. you would like to use an anonymous name outside of Facebook) you will need to also create an account at youhavebeenjudged.com directly. The account can still be linked to your facebook account, but will no longer update the name/username and other related info every 24 hours from Facebook. If you create an account here directly that information will remain even if you disconnect the account from Facebook.
Note that Facebook connect features are still under development and this policy may change slightly as things are finalized. However, know that we will always abide by the Facebook TOS to the best of our abilities. More imporantly we will always respect you, which probably offers better protection really.
privacy
We pretty much hate marketing but understand it's necessity (to a point). However we do not abide SPAM (bulk unsolicited email).
That said...your personal information will not be sold as a commodity (unless the dollar figure includes at least 6 zeroes). However, we might in our creative wisdom send you a note regarding this and other projects from beingzoe or coinoperatedentropy. We will be implementing real live opt-in list functionality soon, so you'll have full control anyway.
NOTE: You do not need to supply an email address for an account.
You may simply choose to enter a unique username or id so that you can sign in.
Originally the site was going to be anonymous not requiring any sign in at all, however after considering spam fighting options requiring a sign in made the most sense. That and the site is far more interesting seeing the collective activity of visitors which is much easier using an account.
We use cookies to operate the site and if you choose to 'remember' your sign in.
We use Google Analytics to track aggregate site usage information.
If you are using Facebook connect-only to use this site then your privacy is protected under the Facebook TOS and your privacy settings at Facebook. However all information submitted directly to youhavebeenjudged.com (e.g. judgments or personal account info you have chosen to manage in any account directly on this site) is subject to the terms of service and privacy policy outlined on this page.
